why did i change? ✨🌿🍄🤍🌞 LGBT EDITION

disclaimer: I am a female and was born a female!!! 🌸

i never really talk to anyone or bring this up usually because it was a dark time for me. but would like to shed light on this! ✨

i used to dress super masculine and did cut my hair when I was in my teens. growing up I knew I did like girls, and was super tomboyish. i knew that I didn’t like dressing feminine at all. I loved my baggy clothes and covering myself up.

but over the years, something did shift in me. and i genuinely can not pin point how exactly decided that i wanted to dress feminine. but i knew I started to yearn that softness and femininity touch mentally and physically.

i genuinely got out my comfort zone and slowly started learning what I like to wear, doing makeup, and my hair… it was definitely a lot of trial and error.

my hair was a shit show! it was short so growing it out, i had awkward phases! honestly though it did take 2 full years to completely grow out my hair to my ass.

mentally the whole process, i’d say im genuinely happier with how I am today than ever. i self reflected a lot, and will continue to do better for myself. being independent over the years, i’ve came to realize i didn’t need to be masculine to do that. i can do both and be soft and happy with myself.

overall, don’t be afraid to be who you are. try new things, figure your shit out. we’re all human and it’s ok to change and see what’s good for you. you are on your own journey.
