Check out Zenryoku Izakaya (Japanese Drinking Bar) - a charming Izakaya that offers a true taste of Japan.

Nestled in the heart of Upper Thomson, this hidden gem is definitely a haven for Japanese food and saké enthusiasts. 🍶

Once you step inside, you’ll be transported to a cozy yet lively atmosphere, reminiscent of the izakayas you’d find in Tokyo.

They were playing hip and classic Japanese tunes when we entered, and even anime soundtracks, which certainly brought out the weeb-ness in me and my partner… 🫣

As for the menu selection, it boasts a wide array of mouthwatering dishes, from sashimi to yakitori, and an extensive selection of sake and whiskey, including some rare and regional varities (like coffee malt whiskey, what!!!)

As for the food, here’s what we had:

- Peach Green Tea

- Broccoli Yakitori

- Chicken Breast Yakitori

- Chicken Skin Yakitori (this was my absolutely fav, didn’t take a pic cause i wolfed it down oops…)

- Chicken Nanban

- Sashimi Platter

- Daikon Soup

Our bill came to a total of $70++ for 2 people, which was super reasonable considering the high quality of ingredients they used! 😍

An absolute 10/10! The owner was super friendly too, we even had a nice chat about thr Tanjiro figurine that he got in Japan that he proudly displayed at the cashier 😂
