Joo Pocha is such a gem that’s located in Koreatown! I believe they opened within the last year and the vibes and service here are great.
They have a lot of Korean pub food, kbbq options, skewers, stews, and more. We opted for their spicy fried chicken with noodles ($29.99). It was nothing amazing though so I wouldn’t get it again. We did try their pork belly skewers ($8.99) though and those were quite good! The meat was so soft it really melts in your mouth. The fries ($12.99) and kimchi pancake ($15.99) were also great so I recommend getting those.
We ordered soju here and each bottle was about $14.99. They also have other Korean drinks such as rice wine and beers. Since we had a big group, they also gave us extra bottles and beer on the house!
Compared to other Korean pubs in ktown, I wanna say Joo is cheaper and more worth it for both the quality of service and vibes! Definitely give them a try some time if you’re looking for a fun late night place to go to with friends in ktown.
