1. Dont settle on the first apartment you see and compare it to others in your area to see how the pricing works out

2. MAKE SURE IT COMES WITH APPLIANCES(washer and dryer, refrigerator etc..) This will save you so much money in the long run

3. before signing your lease make sure you ask about other monthly coats, often apartment complexes will sneak coasts that you may not want such as their wifi plan so make sure you know what exactly you're paying for
