Best view in Colorado!

Colorado is such a picturesque state you can’t go wrong with any hike but this is my absolute favorite.

📍Blue Lakes (Mount Sneffels Wilderness)

Difficulty: Hard

Distance: 8.7 miles

Elevation gain: 2,509 ft

This trail takes you to 3 lakes (lower, middle and upper blue lakes) Pictured here is the lower lake view from above.

It is HARD but the views are soo worth it. Take lots of water! We hiked and camped here in July. We did see a bear with 3 cubs while hiking from far, so be prepared with your bear spray. It took us about 6 hours and we only got to the middle lake due to a storm. This trail is dog friendly and open year-round!
