Things to do in Washington DC

These are some fun things to do in DC (probably as a tourist, as these are well-known to locals most likely😂)

📍 The White House If you can’t get a tour (you have to go through your state reps) you can always enjoy the view from the outside! Its beautiful!!

📍 National Mall Is so much fun to walk around!!

📍 Museum of Illusions Washington DC was so much fun! It’s best to go with at least one other person because the illusions require photos being taken.

📍 United States Capitol I highly recommend getting a tour. The architecture is stunning and it’s so fun to see all of the people in suits!!

📍 Supreme Court of the United States Was my favorite of all the buildings. It was stunning inside and the outside feels so powerful!!

📍 Take the train!! I know as a local this would not be fun but as someone who lives in a place with no public transportation like this, it was fun.

📍 Downtown Is so beautiful! Walk around The George Washington University campus or near all the shops!

📍 Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History Visit the Smithsonian’s!! There are several museums to see and they have so many exhibits!! Take your time going through them. I would set aside a whole day for this. Plus: free admission!!!
