Summer Fridays Honest Review

I got the Summer Fridays lipgloss because it was trending all over social media, and here is my honest review about this product. Here’s what nobody is talking about:

First off let’s talk about the formula of the product. I scanned this lip gloss on the app Yuka and it rates a 0/100. This means that the product is bad for your health and does not have good ingredients in it. It also contains one hazardous ingredient called BHT. BHT is an endocrine disrupter and can also have negative effects on sex hormones and may affect fertility and development. When you apply lip gloss you are directly ingesting these chemicals right from your lips.

Now let’s talk about the product itself. I was honestly really dissatisfied with this gloss. It didn’t have any pink tint to it when applied on the lips, gives a really basic looking gloss, doesn’t last long, and easily transfers. The only good thing about this product is that it smells like vanilla and has aesthetically pleasing packaging. It’s safe to say that my entire experience with this gloss was a disappointment and I’ll be throwing it out.

Remember, just because an aesthetic product is trending doesn’t mean it’s actually good for you. Always scan your products to make sure the ingredients are good for your health.
