Walking the Streets of Southern France Playlist

These are some throwbacks. And when I say throwbacks, I don’t mean to 2000’s R&B. I mean the jazzy, smooth like top shelf whiskey, and scratchy trumpets and saxophones.

There is something so timeless about these songs. Think Sebastian from Lala land and his jazz club. The old money vibe, but also two lovers walking down the streets in a small beach town in the French Riviera.

Thinking about it just gives me the travel itch. It transports my mind there because some times that is all I can do to “escape” my daily life. (Some call it dissociation, I call it mind traveling)

Regardless, I love to listen to this when I’m cooking in the kitchen because my Grandma is from Italy and I cooked with her all the time growing up. This was the music style she would listen to so I always associate it with my memories of her.

This is a totally different style of music that isn’t for everyone, but give it a try! See where in the world it takes you :)
