Come With Me to Okap 🇭🇹

My recent family trip to Haiti was so much fun! From the food to the beaches, I was in my element. My family stays in Okap, a nickname for the major city called Cap-Haitien. Here are a few of the places that I stopped by.

Both Belly Beach and Cormier Beach are private beaches. There is no fee to enter you’re just expected to purchase food and drinks. The steamed fish I had on Belly Beach I’m still thinking about!

My cousins and I had a stay-cation night at Satama Hotel and it was definitely a highlight for us! This hotel is very sexy, with a gorgeous view of the city and a beautiful pool that you can swim in all night while you get to know the other guests over some drinks. I’ll definitely be going back there.

If you want an authentic experience of what night-life in Haiti is like you have got to hit the Boulevard. There are lots of casual bars where you can grab a quick bite and some good ole Haitian beer (Prestige or Kinanm). This was a vibe! I regret not spending more of my time exploring! Boukanye was one of my favorite spots.
