I recently visited Burton Agnes Manor House, a beautiful Elizabethan home in East Yorkshire. If you enjoy a mix of history, art, and peaceful surroundings, this place is perfect for you.

Regarding the entrance fees, adult tickets for both the Hall and Gardens are priced at £15.50, while child tickets (ages 4-15) are £8.50. There's also a family ticket available for £39.50, which covers two adults and two children. If you're only interested in the gardens, an adult ticket is £10.50, and for children, it's £7.00. Children under 4 enter for free.

There was a lovely art exhibition during my visit. It added even more charm to the experience, blending perfectly with the house’s historic atmosphere. Art lovers will find this really charming.

Walking through the house was like stepping back in time. Every room has been carefully maintained and preserved to show the original beauty of all the vintage items, with beautiful woodwork and paintings everywhere.

Two rooms really stood out for me: One was the Drawing Room. This room was luxurious and cozy, with soft lighting and rich fabrics. I could have easily spent hours just relaxing there. And my personal favourite is the reading room. It’s filled with old books and had such a peaceful vibe, perfect for those who love a good read.

Burton Agnes Manor House is more than just a historical site. The art exhibition, beautiful rooms, and peaceful gardens make it well worth the entrance fee. If you're ever nearby, it’s definitely worth a visit.
