Let’s Pick Best Concealer before Raya

Are you guys still having the same skin type as mine? Oily skin gang here! I also easily sweat especially when wearing mask! Oh god, my makeup sumpah easily crack and look cakey sangat. It’s impossible for me to use grab everytime i keluar right, so i need to use public transport where i might sweat a lot from walking to the bus stop and lrt. And i’ve tried many kinds of concealers from Shopee and also drugstores to see which one is the most suitable to address my problem.

1. iMagic

- my second least favourite concealer. not suitable for oily skin as when i applied on my skin, i obviously can feel its texture yang already oily. it’s very lightweight, easy to apply. it also long lasting when you put it a lot under the eyes and has low to medium coverage. so it allows makeup nampak cakey and easily to crack la as i need to letak a lot to get the coverage and longevity tu even though dah blend and set dengan powder elok elok. lagi lagi i jenis cepat berpeluh memang it’s not a good choice ever lah.

2. Focallure

- this concealer is from shopee but it works wonder for its affordable price. i always use to concealer pimples and my eyebrows as its coverage is medium to high. the texture is a little bit thick and creamy but it’s pretty easy to blend either with brush or beauty blender. it’s long lasting as well and totally suitable if keluar from pagi until malam sebab tak crack and cakey walaupun you berpeluh.

3. Palladio

- worst ever concealer i ever had. dry too fast, coverage pun takkan dapat sebab lepas je blend, it produces flacks. like dia tak stay on your skin and akan terkeluar when you dap dap with your brush or beauty blender even though you dah letak setting spray to make it a little moist. flacks tu macam you erase tulisan you guna rubber biasa tu kan and the ones yang coming out after that from the eraser tu lah yang akan keluar on your face when using this concealer. A HUGE TURN OFF. waktu nak blend pun susah and totally horrible for dry skin. if these problems i mentioned tu diorang address, it might be suitable for oily skin.

4. Rimmel

- super duper suitable for oily skin sebab it gives you matte finishing. it’s long lasting even though i berpeluh naik bas apa semua tapi it stays sampai malam and tak crack langsung and lightweight. the best part is ada high coverage to cover all the flaws where you don’t have the need to put colour corrector beforehand. texture dia quite thick and creamy makes it is easy to blend and cover flaws well. Some people said that this concealer is a dupe to CT 👀

5. Maybelline

- okay hear me out, this concealer is super good! it gives you a natural-looking finish and suitable for oily skin or sweaty skin. takkan crack or makeup tetiba jadi cakey ke apa, TAK ADA!! no need letak corrector under eyes dah if pakai this concealer. kalau nak ganti foundation pun sangatlah recommended sebab i kalau malas nak apply foundation, i guna je concealer ni. that’s why i banyak kali repeat especially during sale. it’s long lasting like sampai ke malam pun still on point ya and easy to blend. it has medium to high coverage and the texture is quite thick.

6. Catrice

- this concealer is super nice as well. it’s pigmented, easy to blend, not too fast drying, and the best part is surprisingly long lasting. this one pun tak perlu letak colour corrector pun untuk under eyes. kalau letak, okay je tapi tak compulsory sebab the concealer alone is enough. it’s waterproof as well so kalau berpeluh pun, takkan crack and will stay for the whole day!

However, our experiences might be different even though we have the same type of skin or problems sebab on top of concealer kita kena set dengan powder and all kan. so benda benda tu semua might be another factor for your concealer to work differently from others. and sehebat mana pun concealer you, you tetap kena set dengan powder and setting spray tau. jangan lupa so that it won’t move and stay for the whole day!
