Trying the Merit Bronze Balm and Flush Balm for the first time!

Right away I noticed how creamy and glowy the Bronze Balm was once I started to swipe it on my face. Usually with cream bronzers and blushes I get nervous about how it will blend or if it will take my makeup off underneath but the bronzer blended amazingly using a dense brush. I thought the shade Seine complimented my skin really well and gave me the perfect glowy bronze touch to my skin I was hoping for. From my first impression I give it a 10/10. Seamless and effortless.

I wasn’t sure what the best way was to apply the blush from the applicator but I knew I wanted good color pay-off so I decided to just apply directly to my fave using a stamping motion making sure I wasn’t removing my concealer underneath. This technique worked well especially since the Flush Balm is so creamy I was able to get good color without tugging on my face. I believe this product would blend well with your fingers, which I’ll have to try next time but I used a dense brush to blend the edges in. The shade Fox is so pretty and such a timeless blush shade. From first impression, I give the Flush Balm a 10/10. Beautiful shade and love the glowy formula.

I finished the look off with the Merit Signature Lip in Slip. I’ve had this lip for a while now in my collection, and actually featured it in my top 5 nude lip combos here on Lemon8! I love this shade and although I usually apply it with a lip liner, I tried it on it’s own here using a blotting motion and I love how it looked!
