Things I Did Not Know Before Moving to FLORIDA 🌴🫶🏼🦜

Here are a few things that surprised me before moving to the sunshine state! ⚡️💛

- Not all palm trees have coconuts

- Watch out for wildlife... You WILL find all kinds of critters in your house, pool, yard, etc. 🦎🐍🐊

- Between the months of June-November, it rains A LOT. Nearly every day. Not all day every day, but frequently!!!

- Spring Break 😵‍💫

Florida’s numbers explode in March and April when the spring breakers invade. It's not just college kids that flock here. Families also hit the state when their kids are out of school, and they’re dying to get away from the cold. The roads, restaurants, and beaches will be packed. Brace yourself.

- Fruit 🍊🍒🍑🍎

Florida’s soil and sunshine produce over 70 percent of the citrus for the nation!

- Heat 🥵

Obviously it's hot, so remember how the heat may impact you! Always wear sunscreen, never leave anything in your car that could potentially melt. Learned this the hard way 🫠
