Betul ke lepas kahwin dah tak ada kawan?

Setengah orang bila dah kahwin, diaorang akan terus auto tukar focus to family time. Lagi lagi kalau dah ada anak, which made it hard for them to hang out as often as when they’re still single because that is me now.

Kita ada 24 hrs in a day. If kita kerja, having to handle household, make time for your husband and family, there isnt just much time spare for our friends. Of course sedih sebab that will make us feel slightly lonely tapi this is when you will develop different type of friendships with your married friends who shared same values as you.

Kalau your friends jenis understanding, they will stick around regardless how much less they see you. Sekarang kan zaman modern, boleh je nak video call or whatsapp if they need us or if we need them. Moreover, bila dah start kerja i think a lot of us memang try to spend less time out cause it can be costly too. So sometimes, its not cause of you kahwin but everyone introduced to adulthood budgeting once they start working.

Jangan sedih if some friendship ended over it. If they care and understand you, they will stick around but if they dont then you deserve a better friend. On a brighter side, this is the time where you can build closer relationships with your husband. Make them your closest friend cause that is also one way for long lasting relationships.

Personally, I memang struggle with maintaining friendships at beginning of my marriage because I was busy adapting to my marriage life but it got better after that. I definitely learn how to balance my time, my family time and friends. Once you dah start accept with the new ways of doing life, you will feel a lot better.
