💛 things i almost named my rescue cat (and why i didn’t)

☀️Athena - she thinks every door is a push door, so she traps herself in closets…a lot.

☀️Katniss - i would have ended up calling her Kat, and i didn’t want people to think i named her Cat.

☀️Buttercup - i loved this name. my friends told me they would call her Butt, which is the only reason i didn’t pick this one

☀️Sprig - this was a cute option, but there weren’t good nicknames
