I PASSED MY BTT (not rlly anyth to be proud of HAHAH)

So… what do I do after passing my BTT?

You should’ve found an instructor by using your contacts/ friend recommendations and booked a lesson with them after your BTT date! (Honestly this should have been done even before you pass your BTT)

For your first driving lesson, I would advice you to wear Covered shoes with thinner soles! This helps you to feel the pedal and the brake, cause in my personal experience, it’s hard to gauge how hard to step on the pedal when you first start learning. (And hopefully your driving lesson is near to your BTT so you can apply what you’ve learnt)

Tips for your lesson:

Usually private learners will start off on the road (not the circuit) So roads are wider, and actually much easier to manoeuvre around. Listen to your instructor for tips on how to check the mirrors and blind spots (which are the most most impt to do!!)

After going for a few driving lessons (for me I went for 2) You should be able to book your simulator lesson. Once you’re able to, don’t wait! Run and book it on the CDC app because the slots are a good 2months away 😭 That’s rlly long and if you wait, you will just be wasting your time because you can’t go for your Final practical Test if you’ve not done simulator!

(Anws, the photos show the market rates for driving lessons, and how much the simulator test will cost. Just take not that simulator seasons cannot be booked one after another!)
