MOVING INTO HALL? 5 THINGS YOU MUST BRING 😍

should you bring galvanized steel? 👀 (iykyk) anws i've lived in hall for 4 years and here are my must-bring items!! trust me... i would have pERISHED in hall without them 😵

1️⃣🧹 magic mop!

its like a wiper type so you can just switch between dry and wet floor wipes. personally i prefer dry first to pick up all the hair then wet to really get that clean feeling! DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HOW MUCH HAIR your hall room will pick up. its ENDLESS 😩😩😩

🔥 HOT TIP: get a mini vacuum if you can too! vacuuming up all the random bits and dust you've swept into a corner makes cleaning so so much easier

2️⃣🍲 instant cooker!

when i first entered hall i too thought "im going to become a masterchef!" wrong there is no fridge nor stove in the pantry and quickly my dreams dwindled into "i need to cook instant noodles or i'm going to be ordering $15 grabfood AGAIN" 🥲 instant cookers are super easy to clean so i def recommend getting one!

3️⃣🪑 seat cushions!

the chairs will hurt your ass. trust. these chairs do not care about your posture or comfort. get a seat cushion asap... 😔😔 and if the table height/chair height don't satisfy you, the seat cushion can help to add height!

4️⃣🔌 power cord extensions!

the room itself usually provides three power sockets, so if that's not enough for you i recommend getting an extension cord! personally i use mine for my laptop charger, phone charger, lamp (i brought my own in), and for any instant cooker/nail UV lamp/other devices to charge such as portable chargers and speakers etc.

5️⃣👕 clothes rack/organisers!

a clothes rack can be convenient to drape wet towels/dry delicate clothes you dont want to use the dryer for 💦 and the clothes organiser is useful since the closet doesn't have many drawers! i used mine to store belts, shorts, etc. while pants went in the drawers below the bed 👖

Other useful things to add to your packing list:

✅️ laptop stand

✅️ trinket jar/tray (esp for laundry $1 coins!)

✅️ mousepad

✅️ command hooks if you want to paste posters on the walls

✅️ mini desk organisers (to act as shelves)

✅️ a cooler bag if you have no fridge

✅️ diatomite cup coasters

✅️ laundry hamper

✅️ coat rack if your room doesn't have one
