Bumped into my EX

It’s been close to 2 months since we last broke up. I initiated the break through text, as he didn’t want to meet up to talk about our issues. I was left unread, and I’m still finding closure by myself.

I bumped into my ex. We were walking the opposite directions. No, he didn’t see me. My first reaction was to tilt my head down, cover my face with my hair to avoid all contact.

But why do I have to do that? I couldn’t bring myself to act like nothing has happened and say hi.

Seeing him in person just makes it harder to move on. It’s a bittersweet feeling to see that he’s doing well (from the brief look), and it’s all that matters. I guess loving from a distance is much better this way, at least he’s happier.

I’m trying to move on.
