Okay, so maybe you don't HATE studying, but if you're not feeling so great about it, here are some of my tips:

MINDSET

The first part: you keep telling yourself you hate studying. If you jump into a study session thinking it’s going to be boring and difficult, then it probably will be.

What to do: Remind yourself of your goals, Give yourself little rewards for studying, Take a deep breath and reflect, Positive affirmations about yourself

REWARDS

Alright, second: you don’t have enough free time to do the things you love. If you don’t have anything to look forward to, it’ll be hard to feel motivated to study.

What to do: Take 30-60mins to do something you love, Plan a fun event on the weekends, Join a club or sport that you like, Spend more time with friends and family

GOALS

Third: maybe you don’t have concrete goals. It is completely normal to be confused about what you want to do in life, but this could affect your opinion on studying.

What to do: Boil it down: list what you want to achieve in life in 3 words, Journal about your future desires, Be okay with not knowing what to do

GRATITUDE

Up next: you don’t realize your privilege. You are so lucky to be able to study! Not everyone has this opportunity, so I think it’s important to appreciate what you have.

What to do: Have to vs get to: you get to study; Gratitude journaling: find 3 things you’re grateful for every day, Find the things you like about studying

SELF-CARE

Lastly: you might be overworking yourself. If you’re feeling burnt out, it’s time to take a break. Don’t pressure yourself and try not to feel guilting about relaxing every now and then.

What to do: Take an entire day to rest and recharge, Dedicate some time every day for yourself, even if it’s just a long shower, Try to do something fun every week
