$50/night hotel at jb!

recently went to jb for a 2d1n trip & this is where my bf & i stayed~

📍 Fives Hotel Johor Bahru City Centre

(opposite custom)

while choosing for hotels my bf suggested a few bc im v picky w hotels… none of them made me feel safe & gave me icky vibes… when he suggested fives to me i looked it up online, saw the pics & said okay! also its only $50/night 😮‍💨

we got the deluxe king room which is the most basic & cheapest one & it had everyt we needed for a night’s stay. it was v small & compact, when you open the door you see everything. the toilet is on ur right, the queen? king? bed is infront of you and on the left is the tv, mirror, table & “closet” area~

i didnt check for the facilities of this hotel cos i was only there for a night so i wasnt rly interested but if im not wrong they dont have a pool? but they have a gym/ fitness centre! & there’s also a restaurant/ cafe at the lobby of the hotel!

staffs there were rly nice & our check-in process was v smooth 👍🏼

i’d say the best thing abt this hotel is the location! its actl js opp holiday inn jb city centre so if yall hv stayed at this hotel before you will roughly know where fives is! a 10-min walk from the hotel will bring you to popular cafes such as offee cafe, roast & coffee and thrift stores such as lab33l, kedai shoby shanghai, rebirth, red chilli. && the plus point is that its js opposite the custom~! super convenient 🤩

i’ll probably stay in this hotel again the next time i hv an overnight stay in jb 👍🏼
