Beginner crochet tips?

Any crochet tips you wish you knew when starting? or maybe some questions you have as a beginners?

I’’ll start you may see people saying magic rings/magic circles, foundation chains, and so hard are so difficult or impossible to learn. This makes it really intimidating to even try. But I chose to ignore them and just try and after a bit I got the hang of it all.
