trying nian gao waffles at Ri Ri Cha

💭Thoughts:

Have heard about this place and their nian gao waffles for a long time already so finally tried it!! Turns out they are related to the better scoop which has a few outlets, including the Serangoon one which I’ve been to a couple times 😅

Their ice cream flavors are more tea based rather than the generic flavors so if you prefer these kind of flavors then do visit them!

🌟 I like tea based ice cream flavors that are not too rich so their flavor profile kinda suits me. But I wouldn’t say it is absolutely amazing - do think dopa which is relatively nearby is better 😅

🌟 I do love the nian gao waffles though!! I absolutely love nian gao (although only eat it once a year on CNY haha) so having it inside the waffle was absolutely 🩷!! Love the gooey and chewy nature of nian gao which gives the waffle extra texture!

🤔Would go again?
