💭 Thoughts:

1. Black bean mascarpone w sourdough crackers

- whattt this was pretty amazing???

- idk what they put in their mascarpone but wow it was so delicious!!!

- I could just eat the mascarpone just by itself because it was that good!!

2. Yukhoe w crispy seaweed

- beef tartare, crispy seaweed, egg yolk purée, korean pear, gochujang

- every component of this yukhoe was PERFECT

3. Hogam jeon w mozzarella cheese

- added mozzarella cheese for an extra $3 and no regrets!!

- this jeon is honestly one of the best I’ve ever tried!! It’s a bit fusion but they pulled it off so well!!!

- definitely a must try as well!!

4. Abalone gim pasta

- If you love sesame oil and seaweed, this one’s for you!!

- Portion was a bit small but since we had the other dishes, we found sharing this was just nice for us!

5. Korean fruit wine

- And since this place is called Anju, ofc we had to try their alcohol selection!

- They recommended this fruit wine which had 12% alcohol and it went really well with all the food!! Tasted like a light white wine!

🤔Would go again?

DEFINITELY!!! Food and service was great throughout!! The waitress was very detailed in recommending the food and especially the drinks! Her knowledge on the different Korean alcohol really showed!! Come here if you would like to try other Korean alcohol other than the standard Korean beer and soju!
