I have a passion for home decor. Nothing makes me happier than a clean, stylish space to relax. As someone who works from home, my space is important to me. It sets the tone for my days. My home decor style is very similar to my clothing style, minimalistic and modern with a focus on quality.

This particular corner of my apartment is my absolute favorite place to drink a cup of mint tea and draw on my pad. I searched and searched and searched for a green velvet chair until I finally came across this one on overstock.com. With a $450 price tag, it was expensive.

However, the cost was totally worth the comfort it brings me and the flare it adds to the room.

My fiance jokes that I love that chair more than him. This is partially because I refuse to let anyone but me sit in it, for fear of wearing away the velvet finish. What can I say? I guess I am a crazy chair lady.
