How to effectively use a planner 📔

Planners are a great tool to be productive and work on your time management skills. The planner I use from Papier 🫶🏻

📚 Find a planner that fits your needs (e.g. daily, weekly, or monthly planners with room to write down notes or to-do lists). Finding a planner that you love will make you stay motivated to use it.

🎨 Use a color & symbol system. This will help you save time when you’re looking for something specific in your planner. You can choose different colors for each class or different colors to identify between tests or assignments.

📑 Write down in your planner your schedule and due dates. Check the syllabi for this information and consolidate everything in one place. When the time comes you’ll have all the info you need in one place.

🖇️ Always write down your tasks in order of priority and not my order of difficulty. This is a great way to stay on track and to not avoid your “difficult” tasks.

🌈 Have fun and be creative but also be flexible! Plans might change and you’ll have to be flexible and switch them around. This is not a bad thing, embrace the uncertainty.
