cutest matcha keyboard 🍵

Build the cutest matcha themed mechanical keyboard with me!

I've been loving the color green as of late and of course, I needed to build a green keyboard for my desk space. I tried to build a creamy and thocky sounding keyboard.

Here's the details of my build:

1. QK80 Keyboard: This base keyboard is a gorgeous pale green. It has a full metal body and comes with all the foams. You can try mixing and matching different foams for different types of sounds. I personally prefer thockier, deeper sounds, so I added tape to the PCB and use the PE foam for marbly sounding keys.

2. Invokey Matcha Latte Switches: These are linear switches with a long pole, and the best part– they come pre-lubed. I tried these on a friend's keyboard and loved how they felt so I had to get them to match my matcha themed keeb.

3. Osume Matcha Keycaps: I'm obsessed with the minimal and cute keycaps from this brand. The keycaps are very pretty soft green and feature cute little frogs on the novelties. The color matched perfectly with the keyboard base as well.
