🌟 Roanoke, VA Mini-Guide 🌟

After spending a few days in Roanoke, I know I’ll definitely be planning a trip back! Here’s a guide based on my trip:

WHAT TO DO

⛰️ Hike one of the many trails in the area

🥾 Visit Natural Bridge State Park

🌟 Watch the sunset from the Mill Mountain Star

🐒 Climb and zip line at the TreeTop Experience in Explore Park

🕹️ Play old arcade and video games at Center In The Square. There’s also a pinball museum and really cool science museum here.

WHERE TO EAT

🍳 Scratch Biscuit Company for amazing biscuits

☕️ Little Green Hive for great breakfast burritos or smoothies

🥘 Six and Sky Rooftop Grille for the Snapper & Grits

🍔 The Green Goat for great salads, sandwiches, pizza, and burgers

🍨 Blue Cow Ice Cream Co. for ice cream

🍻 I tried Starr Hill and Three Notch’d (loved both) but there are tons of great breweries in Roanoke

WHERE TO STAY

🥨 Hotel Roanoke is a Bavarian-style luxury hotel within walking distance of downtown.

🏦 The Liberty Trust was once a bank and is now a luxury hotel downtown.

🛌 If you’re on a budget, there are tons of chain hotel options or affordable Airbnbs in the area.
