so I love kbbq and korean food in general and my family wanted to try new restaurants!

here at Seoulizm, the interior is super nice and the ambient lighting is honestly 10/10... 💋

SIDE DISHES

honestly its ok! kimchi is on the spicy, not sour side which I really like 👍 egg rolls were yummy tbh, wasnt bland!! tasty af

MENTAIKO CHEESE STEAMED EGG

ok this one WOW I honestly really love it. I usually find steamed eggs to be abit bland but this was so good I couldnt stop... and there was cheese (I dont like cheese) but it was so savoury I wish there was more cheese LOL

WAGYU BEEF SOYBEAN STEW

this was fine.. I dont really like how the fermented soybean smell was so strong! It felt very chinese-cuisine to me too, but my brother devoured it it was his favourite dish he poured all his rice into the soup and really cleeeeaned that bowl 🧹🧽

TTEOKBOKKI

omg this was a surprise tbh! I never really had tteokbokki that tasted this good... it was always mid... this one was so spicy and so savoury, it didnt taste like the usual tteokbokki I would get at other restaurants, it really stood out to me! Tteokbokki was cooked nicely too, not much trouble on having to overchew or whatttever💋💋💋

SPICY COLD NOODLES AND KIMCHI FRIED RICE

for these two, I have nothing much to say... they are fine, wouldnt get them again! esp the spicy cold noodle 😅

BBQ MEAT

so I thought they were gonna cook for us but they just walked away and after awhile they told us to cook ourselves... maybe say earlier/ why help us start the cooking I thought you were gonna follow through 😭😐 the meat came like partially frozen and they werent any special/ tasty tbh it was mid... felt like a waste! The beef was like hard to even eat like my teeth cant even pull the meat from the bones 😐..

VERDICT:

wouldnt come again, unless I crave for the tteokbokki 👍 the only dish I'll come back for! what a waste, but at least experienced it once 👍
