Scripture for Goal Setting 🐴

Let's have a moment of honesty: It can be HARD to trust God and the plans that he has for you.

I don't know about y'all, but I find myself stumbling time and time again through plans that I made instead of trusting God. 🙈

As we are reminded in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit to Lord whatever you do, and HE will establish your plans.". Now I know that this is SO much easier said than done. As equestrians, we plan our horses routines, their diets, and our competition schedule. Why would we ever let that go and trust the plans that God has for us?

I challenge you to give over one of your goals to God. I will share mine, and I'd love if you could share yours too!

"God, I give you the goals I have for my life. I try to follow you and create the creative lifestyle that I dream of having, but I know that you call me for more. Lord, I ask that you take this fire inside of me and use it to spread your light both into my community and through it to those I do not yet know. God, I ask that you take my talents and use them for your will. I have plans to create a community, write a book, and build my life around those places I feel most connected to you. Yet, I know that fear shrowds the next steps I want to take. God, I ask that you shine your light onto my path so that I can follow the plans you have for me, and not the desires that lead me astray."

I know that was a bit long, but give a goal up to God in the comments. Even if it something as simple as "God, I trust you with the goals I have for show season next year.", it is a great place to start!
