Lunchtime Escapades Diary in CBD: #2

Part 2 of my consolidated list of my lunch diaries in CBD area!

1. Ramen Matsuri

This ramen spot is all about Mazesoba! It's super tasty, and guess what? You get a free noodle upsize! But honestly, I never go for it because the portions are already huge!

2. Sour Fish Rice Noodle

First time trying this place! Unsure of what the restaurant name is called! The mala soup was pretty good, though the portion felt a bit small. The yellow sauerkraut noodle soup was nice, but it still can’t beat Tai Er!

3. The Soup Store

I got the soup of the day—Golden Pumpkin Soup with Scallops! It’s usually gone by 12 or 12:30, so I feel super lucky to have snagged it for lunch. I won’t spill the secret of which day they serve it, but trust me, their other soups are just as yummy, leading me to my next rec…

4. The Soup Store (Again!)

Took away the Beauty Collagen Soup this time! It was so rich and heartwarming, with lots of fish maw. Pure comfort!

5. Wild Coco

I checked out this new nasi lemak spot! It was pretty good, but maybe not worth waiting in a long line for. Still a nice find!

6. Kejora (Market St Hawker Centre)

One of the best nasi padang places around! It’s my go-to when the craving hits. The chili is always perfect, the chicken is super tender, and their fried beef lungs are a must-try!

7. Little Saigon

The pho here is great! Their set lunch is about $10, which includes a main, side dish, and drink—pretty good deal! It’s such a cozy little place to eat, too.
