Fujifilm Superia 400, is one of the last Fujifilm stocks that are still produced today. Great for outdoor and indoor photography, especially with π³ foliage and trees π² . The emulsion on this stock prioritizes the greens π₯¬ and the blues π¦, giving it cooler tones π₯Ά. Contrast wise it is moderately contrasty however when overexposed, there will be less contrast. My thought process when I shot this Film was to shoot scenes with more greens and blues. This is because Superia 400 paints π©βπ¨ these colors brilliantly. π¨
Superia 400 is the go-to film for those looking for π cooler tones. It has a blueish-green color palette, still maintaining relatively natural skin tones. This film is perfect for your weekly ποΈ hikes in the parks ποΈ or snapping photos of your friends. I would suggest not to overexpose this film as it would blow out π₯ the highlights badly (the whites would be super white till nothing can be seen), especially in harsh sunlight. Overall this film performs best in an outdoor nature πͺ΄ setting, as it captures the greens really well, giving it a nice green glow. As the film renders blues and greens well, you can choose subjects in those shades πΆοΈ to make the best out of it. The contrast on this stock is medium to high, which makes the color pop and stand out when shot in a high contrast scene. I wouldnβt recommend you to shoot it so frequently as it is quite expensiveπ°πΈ, but if you see it in the store, get a roll and try it out for yourself. Here's a sign to try a new film you havenβt tried before. π π·
