Best Korean food in Monterey ✨

If you’re in the Monterey area and you’re looking for some good Korean restaurant, drive a little bit further and go to the New Korean Restaurant in marina. It is right next to an Asian market so you could do some shopping afterwards even! I highly recommend this restaurant- it’s authentic, affordable and tasty.

🥢unlimited cold dish

Before the food, you will be served with 8 small dishes and sauces. They are unlimited and super delicious 🤤 I like the yam and cucumber most, and of course the kimchi. The owner said that they make their own kimchi.

🥢what to order

You can do Korean bbq here, although it’s a little bit expensive. We didn’t end up getting bbqs but ordering dishes. We got rice cake, fried squid, kimchi soup and some pig feet.

The size here is HUGE - if you are just by yourself or with one more person, two dishes will be more than enough.
