Szechuan food 🌶 recommendation @shinjuku

For a city like Tokyo where many Asian restaurants compete with each other, the bar is so much higher to be called a good Chinese restaurant, since every shop is super good 😂 raising the baseline.

Chinkashisai is by far the best Szechuan cuisine I’ve ever had, the air is filled with peppercorn smell. 🌶 spicy as it is, the food are actually really good! I strongly recommend you trying it out if you wanna test your spiciness limit.

🌶 mapo tofu

I guess everyone should know about this dish by now, it’s so good and even better here. Silky spicy tofu topped with green onions and ground pork, this classic dish is the must order!

🌶hand pulled noodles

The texture of these noodles are amazing… they are chewy but not hard, super delicious 🤤. The sauce is definitely on the spicier side but acceptable.

🌶 cucumber 🥒 appetizer

Great option to cool off the heat. A bit salty but amazing texture.
