L’Apero by 4F 🍷

L'Appartement 4F is one of my favorite bakeries in NYC, so when I heard they were opening a wine bar in their space at night, I immediately booked a reservation. Seeing the bakery after dark was such a treat, and the whole space felt moody and romantic. We stopped by on a Saturday night before dinner for light bites and wine, but I can’t wait to come back post-dinner for wine and desserts!

All of the tables are upstairs, overlooking Montague St in Brooklyn Heights. We sat by the window, and ordered two glasses of orange wine with the cheese plate with bread and butter. While the wine was expensive at $18, the wine director is from Bar Bête so you know it’ll be good.

The cheese, served with fresh honey and jam, was delicious and went well with our sourdough bread with “good butter.”

Overall, it was a really special experience and we can’t wait to go back for dessert, which supposedly includes an adffogato and their famous cookies from the bakery!
