When I decided that I needed a classic tote to add to my handbag collection for work and travel, I browsed and researched pretty much every bag under the sun to find the perfect tote. I knew I wanted something classic, versatile, and spacious. I wanted it to luxe but not be too in-your-face. Black was the obvious color choice for me. When I came across the Saint Laurent Shopping Tote, I had to have it– it checked off all the boxes and was reasonably priced for a luxury designer bag. I think this bag is insanely underappreciated and I’m shocked more people don’t talk about it.

The LV Neverfull is arguably over– the go-to work tote for most, it’s definitely had its moment. I think the Saint Laurent Shopping tote is a great contender for the next IT bag for work.

I love that the bag is soft and not too structured. The leather is really beautiful and it is that it’s a quieter bag. Very subtle minimal gold embossed logo on the front. My favorite thing about the bag is the subtle gold YSL logo pendant. It’s just a subtle luxe touch.

Spacious, roomy, soft, supple leather that’s big enough for all of your essentials. Mine can hold my laptop, iPad, wallet, notebook, planner, makeup bag and still have tons of space. I also love the removable pouch that’s super minimal and chic, perfect to hold a card case, makeup, whatever you want and can easily go from bag to bag.
