Are Phone Leashes Worth It?

I’ve seen the hype about iPhone straps all over my FYP, so I caved and bought one for myself. I bought mine from OSSA New York, and they have a TON of cute chains to pick from. Although they’re a bit on the pricey side, the quality is very good. I’ve shared my honest Pro’s and Con’s review of having a phone leash below:

PROS -

📱 You can wear small handbags without needing to worry about fitting your phone.

📱 A hands free option is super nice, especially during the work day or when going for a walk.

CONS -

📱A phone leash can often times feel like an extra chain (if you have wired headphones, go for a runs, or just make a standard call) it can get in the way.

📱 The silver chain that I chose can be fairly loud when setting your phone on a table or flat surface.

If you’re looking to buy a phone leash, I recommend having a standard phone case on hand so that you’re able to switch them back and forth.
