The Film Camera I Travel with Most

I’ve currently been traveling around the US, South America, and Europe for the past year, and never leave home without my Olympus O-2 film camera.

I bought the camera used on eBay for around $200 USD. It took me a few months to get the hang of shooting with film, and now I take it everywhere I go!

I personally think film in general adds such a cool aesthetic to a photo, and I’ve loved being able to learn more about photography just from shooting with film.

One of my pro-tips when trying to find a good film camera would be 1. DO YOUR RESEARCH and 2. BUY USED! There are so many great film camera on the market, so try to find one that matches both your expertise and photography style. For example, my film camera does not come with a flash but that’s because I wasn’t planning to shoot any flash photography at night. However. If you DO want a camera that has a flash, I recommend buying one that’s more of a point-and-shoot.
