go for a HIKE at RAIL CORRIDOR this weekend!🏃🏻‍♀️🚂

i recently went for a hike at the rail corridor and i would say this is a very nice solo activity!

Started around 9:30 am from the Holland Road entry, and trekked all the way till I hit the Spooner Road exit. the entire route was around 8 km(?)!

There are loads of spots to hop on or off, so you can choose to stop halfway whenever you feel like it 🤣🤣

I wanted to go all the way to Tanjong Pagar Rail Station, but it’s currently under reno and will only reopen in 2026 😢. So, that’s something to look forward to in the future!

The trail itself was pretty scenic, with trees all around and the path was well-kept. A bit rocky here and there, but nothing too crazy. Only downside was some construction stuff at some spots, so it got quite dusty at times 🙁

some areas that aren’t shaded can get quite sunny and hot, so sunblock 🧴 is a must! (unless you want to get a tan 🤩)

Overall, I'd give the walk a solid 9 out of 10 (-1 because my kneecap almost popped out). Plus, watching other folks doing their hiking thing was kinda soothing – it’s like everyone’s in their own little nature zone 🍃.
