Are Aesthetic Clinics RELIABLE?😭💀

Are aesthetic clinics truly reliable and do their treatments work?

I chance upon this while walking in a shopping centre and wondered.. “sure anot where got so cheap, ltr do alrdy no results waste money”

But… my inner self was begging me to try it at least as i had acne/skin issues for the longest time since i was 13. Tried all the tiktok viral products, ate medication and followed the “how to get clear skin” tutorials countless of times. (So i just went to book appointment lor😂)

First appointment was at #westgate branch as it was convenient. Got a consult with the doc and he answered all my questions and even ADVISED me to use BHA/Retinol/etc daily. Went through my concerns and the nurse brought me to a room to put numbing cream. Afterwards i did the carbon + pico laser at $88 X 2 = $176 (Yall all wouldn’t believe me one lah, i say first sesh alrdy got results)

Subsequent appointments were at #jurongpoint branch and the docs there were also as reassuring + informative. By the 4th session, i could see results that I never thought i could even dream of. Lightning of acne scar pigmentation, overall brightening and lesser acne!

There is of course a downside

- Swelling and redness directly after treatment (may or may not appear the next day as mine went away after a couple of hours)

- NO wearing of make up for 24hours

- NO direct sunlight /exercising/sweating or anything that heats your body up for 3-5 Days

- NO brightening/acidic products for 1 week

- Always use sunscreen

With all that, i do recommend going there for treatments as their aftercare services are really good as they provide antibiotic cream + a “aftercare” note. I did sign a package with them and received a couple of products from them.

However during my 1st visit, some of staff did try to sell me a package but they aren’t pushy about it after i said ill consider which i do appreciate much as i hate hate the hard selling part. They do constantly update you of new treatments and products per session so you have to be firm with telling them what you want and don’t want.
