Easy and delicious Lemon Bars

I thought why not start my Lemon8 journey with a Lemon Inspired recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup All Purpose Flour

½ cup Butter softened

¼ cup Powdered Sugar

2 Eggs

1 cup Granulated Sugar

½ tsp Baking Powder

¼ tsp Salt

2 tsp Lemon Zest

2 tbsp Lemon Juice

INSTRUCTIONS

-Heat oven to 350 degrees.

-Mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar until combined.

-Press mixture into ungreased, square 8x8 pan or baking dish, making sure the edges are a little thicker than the center.

-Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

-Beat the remaining ingredients until light and fluffy. This takes about two to three minutes.

-Take the crust out of the oven and pour the lemon mixture onto the hot crust.

-Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until there is no indention when touched lightly in the center.

-Cool, and dust with powdered sugar.

-Cut into squares and enjoy.
