Buttercream Secrets

1) Butter temperature

Use room temperature butter so it mixes easily with other ingredients and doesn’t make the buttercream lumpy. You can also whip the butter until it reaches room temperature.

2) Beating

Beat the butter and sugar together with an electric mixer until combined, then increase the speed to medium and beat until the buttercream is light and fluffy. JUST KEEP MIXING, be sure to give you mixer breaks as well.
