NYC restaurant review | Tobala ($$$)

Today, I am going to show you a restaurant I visited and was impressed by! Tobala is an artisanal Oaxacan-inspired restaurant located in Riverdale, Bronx. The address is

Honestly, I decided to go there because I was driving by and noticed this absolutely stunning and aesthetically pleasing place. The interior is earthy, organic, and definitely Mexican-inspired.

I ordered white wine ($12 per glass). Of course, I had guacamole with smoked corn, cotija cheese, and corn tortilla chips ($17). Additionally, I had TACOS DE CECINA with dried beef, onions, radish, and cilantro macho ($18). We also ordered cocktails, and I decided to go with LA GUELAGUETZA (16$), which includes Charanda Uruapan, mezcal, coconut, pineapple, tangerine, and hoja santa. I loved the smoky taste of it!

All the food exceeded my expectations, as did the service and interior. Overall rating: 5/5. I definitely recommend this place!
