If you are anything like me, you can feel your 30s looming in the distance. While I’m certain that my 30s will be an amazing decade of my life and parts of me are excited for them, I am a little bit nervous about getting older. I know that as we age it becomes harder to stay healthy and our risks of some health issues increase.

Because of this, I complied this list of wellness habits to focus on as I approach my 30s. Some of these are habits that I’ve had for years, but some have been a little harder for me to incorporate.

If you are looking to add in some of these habits start small. Start by weightlifting once a week, taking one weekend off from drinking per month, applying sunscreen before a walk, texting one friend each week, or scheduling one initial appointment with your primary care physician. You don’t have to do everything at once and 30 instead a magical number when you suddenly become “old”. There’s still time!
