Yakiniku in Tokyo for less than $10?!

So on my recent trip to Japan, I stumbled upon THE BEST beef i’ve ever had and the best part is how affordable it was. This is not one of those tiktok famous places but I dare say that this was the best meal I had on my entire trip.

Basically I was walking off the food I had at the Tsukiji Outer Market when my sister and I walked past this restaurant. The affordable prices of their set lunch really enticed us but we were extremely full at this point so we weren’t really feeling more food. However when we spoke with the server on duty, he said that it was ok for the 2 of us to just share 1 set and if you’ve been to Japan, you would know that most places require each person to get 1 item on the menu at least. So with that, my sister and decided to give the SP set a try. The SP set cost us 3500 yen ($31 SGD) and it was SO WORTH IT. We decided to go big since we were in Japan already and absolutely no regrets. The various cuts were all so fatty and melt in your mouth decadent. I’m honestly salivating while typing this 😭😭

Furthermore, at this point we’ve had A5 wagyu and Kobe beef from other locations already (at much higher prices too 💔) but this meal really takes the cake. Not only are all the options budget friendly, they were so delicious. If you were to opt for the 1000 yen set it would only be $8.90 SGD. FYI, the set also comes with rice, soup and side dishes which are all not pictured because I was too blown away by the beef omg. If you guys are ever in Tokyo, please please please give this a try you won’t regret it!
