“You’re fired!!” What I learnt from being laid off

Getting laid off has somehow become a checklist for many young professionals. It can hit anyone regardless of your title or experience years.

It will be a roller coaster of emotions.

It strips off all the self-confidence you have in you. You will start doubting yourself, your skills and your capabilities.

You will get burnt out from job searching. Attending interviews, completing numerous written assignments, psychometric tests and more. You will get exhausted.

Note to self: your unemployment will be a great life lesson & a blessing in disguise. You’ll venture into areas or try activities you never thought you’ll explore.
