DIY window cover

I have this giant window in the front of my house - my house was built in 1852 and houses back then were built A LOT closer to the street, so when someone walks past that window, they’re eye level with my dining table - no good. The final straw was when I was sitting at my dining table one morning, working on a puzzle, drinking my coffee, and minding my own business when I look up and made eye contact with a passerby.

I found the most affordable and quick solution I could - enter this window cling film! I found it for $10 a roll on Amazon, and the quality’s great, but if I decide to redo it in the future, I’ll get something that’s a custom size. In the meantime, it works great, provides privacy without reducing the light. All you have to do is spray water on the window and press it on - so easy!
