How early can baby go hiking and camping?

It is so different for every parent, every pregnancy, every body in its recovery, every parent and child’s preference and personality.

Earlier isn’t better, and neither is later!

With my first baby I had a big learning curve for how to parent so we did a little adventuring here and there. It also suited her personality.

But with my second daughter I was reading to go! I had a smooth birth and recovery experience and I was dying to get out for my own mental health. So we started with a half mile hike at 1 week post partum and went up from there.

The important thing is, listen to your body and your intuition. You got this ❤️💪
