WHY I DON’T RECOMMEND BUYING A KINDLE 🙅🏻‍♀️

After using my kindle for more than a year, here are my honest opinions of it!

At first, it was really handy and convenient because it’s light enough to bring out or use it for midnight readings but after awhile it got really troublesome as I would have to switch between my phone and the kindle which seemed a little pretentious when i’m out.

Also, the quality is subpar which has lag time between every touch on the kindle and it’s slow to react which annoyed me after while because it really feels like a touchscreen version of an e-dictionary.

I would have to find a book which I wanted to read, find a pdf version, download it onto kindle app which will then be on the physical kindle but if i end up not liking the book, i’d have to switch back to my phone and repeat the entire process. This was the BIGGEST ick for me as i couldn’t access to the the amazon subscription after numerous tries.

I found that my iphone worked WAY better because of the quality difference as I can just access the Kindle app and customise my font size, screen brightness and have different colours for my background and font instead of the b&w the kindle offers.

tldr, I wouldn’t recommend a kindle! If you think a kindle will make you read more, it doesn’t. The quality of the book and your interest in it will make you read more not the product!
