✨no kids, not rich, no husband✨ & doing just fine💅

I am so thankful I developed as a person in my 20s because this is the person and best friend I have for the rest of my life.

I wouldn’t trade that for riches, a husband, children, friends, a home, or anything.

I’m glad I spent my time volunteering instead of on dating apps.

I’m glad I spent some free time crying, journaling, and working through trauma instead of at some 9-5 I hate or out partying & spending money on drinks and outfits.

I’m glad I didn’t join a sorority & instead spent my extra time meditating, doing yoga, and for a season going to church, praying & developing my connection with God. That friendship & love I have for God is something that I will carry through life forever and wouldn’t trade for anything, even though I don’t go to church anymore.

I think people get so hung up on feeling like a failure for external reasons (not rich, haven’t bought a house, no kids, no husband/wife, etc) that they don’t realize how they can develop their soul to feel successful no matter what season of life you’re in.

It’s deeper than self care, although that’s important, it’s about SOUL care, feeling spiritually connected to life & the world where I find my most meaning & power☁️💜
