Eataly is a large Italian marketplace with restaurants, groceries, a bakery, and a cooking school with locations in NYC, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Silicon Valley. We love picking up authentic Italian groceries and snacks when visiting the Dallas location.
We have a few items we can never leave without picking up at Eataly:
First Stop - IL Gelato
All of the gelato at Eataly is made in-house with whole milk from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows from Mill-King Market and Creamery, located in Central Texas. They offer a variety of flavors of gelato and sorbet, ranging from pistachio to chocolate and hazelnut.
We recommend trying the Bombolato, two scoops of fresh housemade gelato in a lightly fried pastry.
Second Stop - Prepared Foods
Eataly has a great selection of fresh, pre-packaged food in the refrigerated section. We love picking up the Cannelloni Ricotta e Spinaci, a delicious pasta dish made with Ricotta, spinach, and parmesan reggiano. The first time we picked this meal up was for lunch at home, and it is one of our all-time favorites from Eataly.
Third Stop - Wine
Eataly has a fantastic selection of Italian wines. Our go-to is the Feudi di San Gregorio Fiano di Avellino 2021, priced under $30.
